Download the MyCanadaOnline.ca Start Page (offline version) This application was developed to allow our members the freedom of a Start Page, stored on their own machine, allowing them to have all of their favorite site links right at their fingertips. The way it works is, if an item on an online startpage, like a picture or text, is not yet loaded in the browser's cached memory, this will force the browser to go online to get that missing information. The only way to actually get around this is to visit the site, cache the info and go back offline. This can be quite a annoying while working offline and opening several browsers during a session To avoid this, the only thing to do, is use a homepage that is stored on your own machine. Since it is stored somewhere other than in the temp directory, you can't delete it by accident by clearing your cache, and will be there for the next time you need it.
To avoid losing your favorite links
stored on our StartPage ver 1.0, if you were to
accidentally choose a new default start page , we
have made a registry key for you and packaged it
in the main program folder, so that all you have
to do is access the start menu, scroll down to
the MyCan folder and click on the re-install file
found there. Automatically your MyCan StartPage
will be re-installed in it's proper place. We
